What It Isn’t…. 4 Types of False Faith
What It Is….
A BELIEF in the unseen, based on firm EVIDENCE, that changes how you ACT/LIVE.
Assurance = "That which stands under" or "title-deed"
Conviction = Thayer - "That by which Invisible things are proved and we are convinced of their reality."
Two Kinds of Proof.
What It Means…
1) I OBEY When I Don’t Understand It.
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8 (ESV)
2) I PERSERVERE When I Don’t Feel Like It.
27 By faith he left Egypt, not being afraid of the anger of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible. Hebrews 11:27 (ESV)
3) I BELIEVE Before I Receive It.
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days. Hebrews 11:30 (ESV)
24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24 (ESV)
4) I GIVE When I Don’t Have It.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. Hebrews 11:4 (ESV)

Faith Brings Us Into God’s WILL, Activates His POWER & Is the Basis For All We DO In Life.
6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
