God’s Will for Me

1) God Planned Me Before I Was BORN.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139:16 (ESV)
2) My Life’s Purpose is to CARRY OUT what God created me to do.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)
3) A Key to God’s Will is to look at myself OBJECTIVELY.
Everyone should examine his own conduct then he will be able to take the measure of his own worth, with no need to compare himself to others. Gal. 6:4 (Knox)
3 For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. Romans 12:3 (ESV)
4) Soon or later I’m going to have to take a STEP OF FAITH.
7 for we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)
8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8 (ESV)
5) This in: God WORKING in & through me.
13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 (ESV)
6) God’s Will For Me Is…
2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 (ESV)
5 and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us. 2 Corinthians 8:5 (ESV)
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; 1 Thessalonians 4:3 (ESV)
16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

The Bottom Line!
God has a PLAN & PURPOSE for me. To find it I need to look at myself OBJECTIVELY & then step out by FAITH.
